Ive seen Moulin Rouge on DVD over a hundred times and still love it every time i watch it and had always dreamed of going to Paris to see the show. For our wedding anniversary my loving husband booked us a surprise weekend in Paris which was amazing. My husband did not tell me that he had booked us to go to the Moulin Rouge for dinner and to see the show.

When we pulled up outside i was speechless and shocked that he had kept this a secret from me but very very happy. The theatre is absolutely stunning and everything id hoped it would be. We where very impressed with the food and the service and the champagne was very nice. We shared our table with another couple from England and managed to get a table on the front row. But i really couldn’t wait for the show to start and when it did it was thrilling. The dancing and costumes where stunning and the set changes where incredible, you can see how much hard work goes in to making it a great evening. The acts in between the dancers where just as good as the main show with the ventriloquist and juggler interacting with the audience. We had such a great evening at the Moulin Rouge and would recommend anybody visiting Paris to see the show. The Moulin Rouge really did live up to my expectations, watching it on DVD will never be the same again.
